Uptime Command in Linux
"Uptime command print find out How Long our System Has Been Running."
The uptime command prints the current time, the duration of time the system has been up, the number of users online, and the load average.
Example: To see the uptime
- I have highlighted the Current time
- Actual uptime.
- Number of users online
- Load average.
Linux keeps uptime information in /proc/uptime file but its very hard to extract the timing details from it. Uptime command just reads that information and present it in a neatly formatted way
